Card Types Explained

Your Centtrip account supports two types of cards, each designed for different spending needs. Understanding how each works will help you manage funds effectively.

Shared Balance Cards

• Draw funds from the shared balance available to the Operating Account.
• Ideal for users who require ongoing access to centrally held funds.
• No need to transfer money onto the card before spending.

Prepaid Cards

• Not connected to the shared balance.
• Require funds to be manually transferred onto the card before use.
• Transfers can be completed instantly by administrators.
• Best suited for users with fixed budgets or controlled spending requirements.

In both cases, card spend is subject to the limits of the operating account, as well as any individual card limits applied by the administrator.
